Hey can you guys click the "run it twice" button plz? I'll pay the 5 dollars or so extra rake per day to have much less variance.

No one seems to be using it.

I have 500k hands on my current database. I am 20 dollars and 26 cents under EV. My winrate is 7.17 ptbb when EV wise it should be 7.08ptbb

Post a graph or you're lying.

like half the discussion in this thread is related to this issue. there isnt really anymore need for it esp considering it was again discussed yesterday at length, again.

i run good all in ev wise. but then again I'm just another mediocre reg. I think the only claim I've made is that I'm better than larghetto, and I stick to that regardless of AIEV.

I'm not going to post a graph because I fear the wrath of the poker gods, which is why I have an altar to them beside my desk that I sacrifice swedish fish to before every session.

Nobody questions that you're better than larghetto, except maybe larghetto, and his opinion on all matters is deemed worthless by me, Nick Rivers.

I don't believe your claims of superstition. It's obviously something else but, yes, you do acknowledge that you're just another mediocre reg, so you don't have any big reputation or braggadocio to uphold. I'm in the same boat; if everyone ITT posted a lifetime graph, I'd probably be somewhere in the middle.

Anyone have any theories as to why I consistently do better without a HUD than with a HUD?

because no one cares, nick. ptr already has him at 6.6 ptbb over 250k hands anyways, not like he has anything to prove.

plus you are the ultimate fronter, everyone knows that. not saying your points/observations arent valid

LOL he's obviously trying to prove something by coming in here and posting his win rate.

I'm glad you can separate the message from the messenger but, even still, I don't front at all. I make no questionable claims about myself.

I was only posting the fact that I ran completely at EV over 500k hands. I provided my winrate to show that it was not some runhot at highstakes to get me at EV or above EV (HI MOONSHINE!!)

Yet you won't post a graph to verify these claims.

I guess that's a reasonable first step. I noticed you went with BB instead of $, which is kind of weak-sauce, but it's better than nothing. gg.
02-19-2010 , 11:55 PM
TJ, serious question. You have one of the better win rates I've seen, do you game select a lot and avoid playing regs? I'm not trying to insult game selection (or bumhunting as its adversaries call it). I'm just wondering how much value there is in playing HU since I usually play 6m and only play HU when starting empty tables.

Maybe he posted that to prove his WR.

It is 90% 1/2 and 2/4 and 10% higher. Everyone sucks at 1/2 and most people suck at 2/4. I play almost anyone that sits. I think I have played everyone who has sat at least once.

way off in my experience. the best players at my stakes I've played with in my FTP career were always a little bit laggier than 21/18. In fact I can't think of one great 21/18 std tag. However there are way more guys playing around those stats vs laggier or super nitty so thats why it may seem like that to you.

while I don't think hes terrible, I beg to differ on this. I could see him being a very good 2/4 player tho
