Hi everyone, I just got back from a month in Europe and I am flat broke. I bought 34 step 1 tickets and am trying to turn them into cash. Any ideas on how and where I should get out of the steps tourneys and turn it into cash. I prefer single table turbo sitngos, should I just play the 24+2 satellites and get out with them or is there any games that are softer from peoples experiences? Thanks included in spoiler.

I read an interesting post about a guy who turned step 1s into step threes, then used the 24+2 matrix tournaments as low variance exit points. Not sure if matrix tournaments even run anymore, but if they do ad youre good at 1 table sit and gos this could be a good way to go.

Yeah, they run. It's relatively low variance since you have so many ways to win money. If you win one table or are the overall points leader, you get almost your BI back. If it's a 9 man matrix, each table has 3 payout spots as well as three overall payout spots, so there are 15 ways to win money.

On a positive note Staff started throwing today.

i just started ftp and it came up with an error saying something like all my player notes couldnt be read and were saved in a file '2010.09.28.2322.Alex00r'

so now all my ftp setting have been reset and all my notes have gone.

has anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

I make a copy of my notes file at least once a month, if not more. I ALWAYS do it before I install an update.

That's one reason I like mine in HEM - they never have lost my notes.

+1. but FTP color coding feature is pretty useful.

I always color code, but make actual notes in HEM. I like it for review.
