Well sometimes, it's good.

Like I raised AA this evening, got a caller, flop top set on a dry as raw pasta board. These are the spots to slowplay a set, where you have it crushed and there's little that can call you.

Just don't do it on a wet flop like that.

1) you need to get value from draws and bet "for protection".

2) there's tons of stuff that can call you. They'll think you have a draw and call with weak TP, 2nd pair, they'll call with draws, and whatnot.

3) And some people, just have their computer too close to the microwave and when their girlfriend hits up a frozen burrito, it affects the metal plate in their head from when they fell off the roof trying to play superman. This is what is called ratard equity.

There appears to be a lot of number 3 types at NL10

Thx for the advice.

udbrky,

When and if you have time, can you copy the folder that gives you that background and email it to me? You should have my email addy in your PM box.

Anyone who wants to teach me how to manipulate the backgrounds like that, feel free to pm me. I'd appreciate that.

That was probably the most boring session EVER! In CO/BTN I got the dealt pretty much only non-suited rag POS hands.

1. Waitlist all tables.
2. When you are offered a seat at a bad table, refuse.
3. At any time later in the session, (say a previously rejected table has become the juiciest, fishiest table evva with a waiting list 15 deep) if you then waitlist anew on a specific table where you have previously waitlisted you will be immediately ranked #1 in waitlist.

I haven't tried this myself (no waitlists at Rush FTW) but it's what I've been reliably told. I don't know who gets #1 if everyone starts doing this!

I seem to have lost the ability to win at poker. To appease the poker gods, I submit the following.

this is good news!
let's pray those guys flatting open raises and then flatting big iso w 53o will keep coming to the games..

Cross-posted from SSNL thread, PM me if you can help out:

Does anybody have a table (or know of anybody that may have a table) showing a breakdown of stakes and the average partial amount of ftp's earnt per hand?

Alternatively - Would anybody like to dedicate some time to this in return for a pre-determined amount (most likely $50 or so). My plan is to use this in a future blog entry but I don't want to spend a long time working this out if it can be avoided / has already been done.

Ranks up there with The Evil Dead trilogy as far as B movies go. South Park took the epic fight scene and used it for their cripple fight episode, pure gold imo.

udbrky, did you mention finding a way to move the dealer button? (i think you mentioned seat #5, but I'm not sure which one that is.) my problem is the dealer button hides behind the hud on the right of my layout. when i'm multitabling i occasionally lose track of whether i'm IP or OOP in a hand.

sweeeet layout overall. you even moved the bet window...timebank too? now i'm intrigued...

also, where did you guys find the bright card backs? google has failed me on that one.
