FTP plays differently then stars, from what I hear, and definetly different from the euro sites from experience, so that may account for some of the problem.

does anyone know of a way to change the lobby clock to pacific time rather than ET? It's really tilting to see the 24 hour clock and think 15:00 is pretty late, only to realize it's actually 12:00 in the afternoon and I missed the tourny by an hour

yea i have a buddy who jus switched from 100nl on stars to FTP, I was sweating him today and he said that the games play a bit different. I asked him how and he said that pre flop on stars is way more aggro. A lot less 3 betting on FTP.

Is anyone playing both 100NL and 50NL Rush? How would you say the two compare? I may give 100NL Rush a try when I get to 30BI (for 100NL).

OTOH, I'm really a marginal winner at 50NL (2ptbb/100 and perhaps I'm running hot) so perhaps I should work on my game more... currently I just mash buttons, stack a donk and have no real idea of hand reading post flop.

I do have a financial goal of earning enough money this year to pay for my xmas Caribbean vacation I just bought. Getting my ass kicked at 100NL would suck. OTOH, increasing my hourly by some amount (20%?) would be awesome!

Maybe it is psychological, but I feel like 50NL Rush is a good bit softer than 100NL Rush. Much bigger player pool (more fish), and the regs are pretty tight at 50NL. They know how to 3bet light, but they don't really ever 4bet light, and they always fold to 4bets. So pretty exploitable. I think rakeback is like 2x higher at 100NL though, which is nice.

Rush 100 has been the most rigged experience of my life.

Pot control the second nuts vs most villains.

Try to dodge 2 or 3 outs unsuccessfully vs the whales.

In a nutshell.

I wouldn't consider 2 ptbb/100 too marginal at 50. It's not amazing, but I'd say that's pretty solid. I would move up. 100 isn't too much harder than 50 in my experience. Just take a 3BI shot. Worst case scenario, you lose ~300 which in the grand scheme of things is nothing when you have the chance of making so much more money at 100.

I'm talking normal tables though, since I've only played 2k hands of 100nl rush and like 500 at 50nl
