Fish usually sit with more than half of their br at one table.. you can tell when they reload to like 23.69 at nl50..
below nl200, 20bi is fine imo, and has always served me well.

Doubt it happens a lot. I can imagine that most people end up just calling him down whether its correct or not.

So I had a NL100 reg (2p2er) with 18/8 stats get mad at me for flatting AK in the BB against his steal attempt and letting him take himself to value town...

Its weird, if you take a passive line, everyone assume you are an idiot.

Yeah, it's weird that a lot of people think passive = inherently evil and sucky play.

Try buying in for 60bb.

Then playing 25% of your hands.

I've said it before, I guarantee I'm on several 2p2ers "buddylist".

25nl<<<<50nl<<<100nl<<<<<<<<200nl

skipping 100nl is a terrible idea imo esp not being rolled
Seems there was a miscommunication as others have mentioned about this.
I will give my reasoning to each of your 3 points as to why i decided to take this $5k shot at $200nl

1. Yes i was beating $50nl/pl for a decent amount plus i have had previous experience at $200 in the past and feel im a better player now to try it again than i was in my previous attempts.

2. $100nl isnt a pointless level but as i am comfortably rolled to play both $100 and $200nl, i felt that i would work harder and play better if i felt i was taking a 'substantial' step up. Im sure the players at $100 are better than the ones at $50 but i wanted to have to focus and concentrate 100% and i feel i will do that at $200 more so than at $100.

3. I agree 100% with you that $5k isnt enough to play $200nl if $5k is your entire roll. As my roll is somewhat larger than that i felt that 25 buyins was an amount i was willing to lose in taking a 'shot' and if it didnt work my roll would be such that i could return to my regular games and be in a position to comfortably play. If i lose the $5k i will chalk it up to experience and move on. Also just because i gave myself $5k does not mean that i have to lose it all to stop the shot. If i feel i am not playing the level well then i will stop when i reach that point.

Hope this clears it all up.

As for todays results

+$400 in 5000 hands with about $110 in rakeback earned too.

Certainly had some spots where i felt uncomfortable but played ok.

This is completely different then just jumping from 50nl to 200nl with a 5k roll which I thought you were doing... gl man

Not skill wise but player base wise it seems like 3/6 is either really really good or really really tough. I was surprised when I was sitting at a table with 4 fish. Not that Ive played a lot there, hard to get in hands since so few games run and Im scared money so I table select like crazy.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

Actually tbh 100NL - 600NL seem to be like that right now. Just doesnt seem like there is any mediocre tables. At 100 you get a table full of nits, at 200 u get people that 3bet, 4bet, 5bet like crazy and are super aggro in weird spots, at 400 u get people that hand read really really well and have well placed aggression, and at 600 u seem to get a lot of the same 400 regs plus some 6max guys sitting in good games.

But when tables are good, there like really good. You get the god seat, its a deep table, the regs arent 3bet crazy and the table basically plays like an atm.

LOL, I'll try to put in the word for you. Just cooler and bad beats? It will turn around.

I'm epically tilted with myself at the moment. Working on a little 6 max 25 nl and it's owning me. I thought I was past spew issues, but I spewed off 2 BI in one hand. Really mad. I guess I haven't got the inner spew monkey as under control as I thought. The money obv means nothing. Pretty mad about the play though. Actually, the money not meaning anything might be a factor in the spewiness, but that is no excuse.
