Cool. At what stakes? both, particularly lolsillygoose, jump around the micros. i think i have seen both playing everthing from 5NL to 25NL. are there any numbers or reads that you could divulge on either? what is your sample size? i have only played a handful of hands with each, but they both seem competent players for microstakes. gooddata is much tighter than lolsillygoose, who is quite laggy if i remember.

Yes run HEM and FTP as administrator in W7 and your life will be much easier

Horrible month so far. Dropped down to 10NL to regain some confidence but I'm still down after 10k hands. I'm getting coolered quite a bit but I've made some pretty horrible plays as well. I should probably stop starting new tables or playing shorthanded because when I do I have the feeling everyone is playing back at me.

No problems here with the newest update though, it installed fine and I didn't have to change anything in HEM. I have Windows XP.

Whats with those who I presume are regs sitting right next to regs who are starting 50NL deep tables and then also sitting out rather than playing HU??

This is directed particularly at POCKETxxACESxxOK who I guess lurks or posts here although I've seen others do it too. (and not just to me .. even if I do have some leaks its not THAT +ev - I hope )

If you are going to sit in with a reg, sit opposite and play or just wait for more to sit down if you don't want to play HU.

Oh, and hello micro ftp regs I usually hang out in the small stakes thread but have been playing quite a bit of 50NL recently.

Does anyone know if the recent FT bonus effects rakeback? My rake back is negative this week and I can only put it down to that, any ideas??

I just checked the rakeback site and this confirms that any bonus is deducted from the rakeback paid, damn :-(

Muppet directed me over here and I wanted to comment on this.

First off unless they were just a random I would not start a table with someone who was going to sit on my direct left. Standup from the table and move to the other side, if they continue to play musical chairs with you tell them that ur not going to play if they sit directly next to you.

The biggest reason to start tables is so that the random/weak/poor players can jump into a game right away and start playing. This is why I go thru the sometimes tough time of playing regs who I am probably slightly EV0 or even EV- against. I mean were all here to make money so if were going to start a table together lits sit across from each other so we can each have the poor players close to us and we can each get our share. I just think it sucks that a reg sits on ur direct left and then two poor players sit across from us and then another reg who did nothing to start the table is able to get position on them.

As far as playing HU muppet is being nice by not bitching that people wont play HU and thats pretty cool. Most regs at 200 wont even sit at a table with you if your going to start it and sit out. The biggest reason for this is so that the random can see us playing and feel comfortable jumping in right away.

Also another rant of mine is if you are going to sit a table that is being started and sit out across from another reg. START PLAYING when the random joins. I have seen this crap so many times where a reg wont start a table but then the player we have been waiting for joins and the reg stays sat out, the random waits for a few seconds and gets up to find another table. Seriously if you cant play 3 handed for 3 hands or w/e just quit poker.

I'd also add that I'm far from great at HU, but the few hands you do play short-handed are great experience - I've learnt a lot from just the few I've played starting tables. (even cashed in a small shootout MTT the other day). If you are finding table selection tricky its a great way to find fish and ocassionaly they just throw money at you

Hello everyone. I just purchased a new computer. My old one crashed every 15 minutes, made playing impossible. All I have to say is... I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkk watch out NL 50. (Although I'm going out of town in 3 days VEGAS BABY! haha)

Man the 50NL tables were freaking crazy tonight.

People were making horrible bluffs and multiple times people tried to trap me when they had the nuts.

When I wasn't doing spewy stuff, I was able to make some $$$.

Ended up having a rough night myselg, losing a BI. When I get AA 4 times in 600 hands, only to pick up the blinds, I know I'm going to have to play my A game... which I didn't

NL10. I have < 100 on each. I agree gooddata is tighter but neither of them seem to run with VPIP/PFR numbers that are near to each other (ie like 14/12) so neither player appears taggish.

Anyone have some cool/nice FTP mods? I'm having a hard time finding ones I like in the software thread. Yes I've gone back and forth through the pages, all the ones I like have had deleted links or random crap wrong with it.
