Just want to share some calcs I did on the value of FT's loyalty program (*). Graphs show effective RB% over FT points earned per day (over 30 days played within the same month).
High res for low volume players:
Low res for high volume players:

In order to do those calcs I needed to put in some values including empirical data. Here's what I used:
Additional notes:
- Point and medal value numbers take rakeback hits into account already. The medal value is derived from the $600 bonus. It's less if you buy a smaller bonus.
- The empirical stuff is from my own samples. I'm wondering how much those numbers depend on playing style, but think they don't vary much between most styles.
- I didn't include Bonus Medals, but the difference should be small to negligible.
- The first peak in the graphs is when you hit Silver, second one is Gold, third one is Iron. There's no Bronze because with 30 days played at 50 points/day you hit Silver already. Other peaks correspond to releases of Plus Medals.
- Calcs include mid year/end year boni.
- It's pretty obvious that the effective RB% will be highest if you hit a new level almost exactly and don't play more hands after you hit.
- For high FTPs/day rates (by playing high volume and/or higher stakes) the effective RB% decreases to a value only slightly above 27%. That's when you might think about making the move to another site and go for a high VIP level there.
- Playing for Plus Medals won't help.
- No guarantee all the stuff is correct ...
I only did 25NL FR, 25NL 6m, 50NL FR because I don't have enough data on other limits/games/blabla. If you're willing to share your numbers, PM them to me (I need MGR/hand and points/hand OR MGR/point). Please include limit/structure/game etc and your VPIP/PFR if you don't mind.
edit by mpethy: op asked me to remove the images; he is going to replace them on 04/11 or so

Reason: changed graphs so they show horizontal grid lines
