I can play 8tables solid now without .ahk, though have to get used to tableselecting manually
07-09-2009 , 10:47 AM
I just wish I could get on so I could grind the next 5 hours or so and get my points for the day......

This is making me regret the decision to play on FT instead of Stars.....

Oh well, UB gave me some free monies, guess i'll go see if i can double that up heh.

+1, FTP sucks. Pls everyone move to Stars

Yep, still disllike Cake, even though they give me rakeback.

Is anyone having problems with HM hud with the new update on fullilt?
07-09-2009 , 01:09 PM
Hahahaha FTP *****! I enjoy seeing FTP having problems, because they refused me rakeback because I started an account before I ever heard of rakeback. U should all leave and teach them a lesson (which is proper masstable testing before releasing software, as every decent CS curriculum teaches).

you have to update to the newest version of HEM which is 1.09 beta 14a i think. you also might need to import your hands to your username now.

Anyway, I'm thinking of moving to stars because well it's better than anything full tilt has besides rakeback. Stars has better table selection so we'll see.

My biggest problem is that the tables now don't pop up to the front if you are looking at Internet Explorer or something. That is a big problem IMO, but maybe everyone who plays poker only plays poker and focuses super hard on every table while playing. hahaha

I have this problem too. Because sometimes I am chatting on MSN and just get timed out of the hand. Whereas before the update the table that requires u to act pops up.
07-09-2009 , 01:52 PM
You have to see this from another point of view: FullTilt wants to teach u guys something :P! Stop chitchatting around on Trillian, Skype, IRC, MSN yahoo ICQ

I mostly go on tilt when I get distracted and I make a stupid move when playing.. I lost 2 Buyins and I said to myself ""if you manage to lose another one, buy a new monitor as well because you are going to lose one due going berserk''

OK got the cards and table somewhat sorted, not perfect yet but it's playable. Guess I need the HEM fix too, not so excited about installing a beta thing. Why can't they make a proper fix.

The only reason I am on FT right now is because of RB.
I put $100 online with the intent of starting at the penny games and working my way up with this starter money. RB on FT at these low levels means so much to a starting bankroll over what PStars can offer. I'm looking at maybe $20/week in RB at $2NL, and that is huge.

I will at least stay here for NL5 and NL10 as well.... Not sure when i'll make the switch to Pstars, I'll have to figure out when their system is better than FTRB.

standouts a little fiesty today? you were talkin lots of smack at this table i was on with u

I think a lot of people are thinking that way. Pretty much FT is better till you can hit nova on stars.

with the todays update, tables pop up again. also lag (not that i experienced it) is fixed together with sound effects. also its now possible to use your old card/table mods in new client using these instructions.

only thing im missing now is the ahk script that moved my mouse to the table that needed attention

Lol ya I prob was, depends which one I was at. Some scrub where really pissin me off today. I was running absolutely horrible idk how I am actually break even right now.

I always put that option off since I have to find my cursor then around my 24'' or 19'' :P

I prefer highlighting active table or did you had that option on as well?

I just tried out some PL tables and apart from Shortstackers who that cannot push preflop & less value preflop/postflop, it is pretty fishy yes

Never seen this before but it happened twice today: playing 9 tables, all of the sudden out of nowhere I could not see any new hole cards or board cards that were being dealt. I was in the middle of a hand, I had 43, flop comes out with no card images. Guy bets into me and I have no idea what the board is, but my hole cards are still showing. I time out at all 9 tables as I can no longer see any hole cards being dealt to me. When I open up "last hand", however, I can see the cards I missed. I experienced no internet latency or graphics card problems of any kind.

At another table I'm on the button, CO raises and I can see only my LEFT hole card, the A. Right hole card has no image, just a blank space with the table background. I time out and sit out at all my tables and decide not to play FTP for a while. My computer is a pretty powerful gaming PC and I've never had an issue like this before, but it has happened twice since the new update and I'm pretty weirded out.

If you are experiencing disappearing cards, here is what FTPDoug wrote in latest FTP update thread:
Quote:
Things we couldn't fix for this update:

1. Missing cards - We're still having trouble reproducing this. If you experience it, please post or PM me about it and include all of the details you can think of (what were you playing at the time, how many tables, what kind of computer, what other software was running) that might help us debug the problem. This is an extremely high priority for us.

I experienced something similiar. I was still able to raise PF and bet the flop even though I couldn't see my own cards nor the board.

Dealing with the lag and small cards while multi-tabling is one thing. But when I can't see my own cards nor the board is something that shouldn't happen with one of the bigger networks such as FT.

I've decided just to sit it out rather than risk it happening again. It's costing me rakeback and money though

I'm glad I cleared and received my midyear bonus already

Ahhhh, I hesitate to ask this, but any idea how many hands it would take to hit nova at 25, 50, or 100nl?

Well, that's unless Stars implements the new points system the floated around here last week. At least for FR players it will a lot more difficult to reach nova thus cutting into the rakeback % it gives them. Seemed to me it looked like it was around 28%, if I remember CMARs response in the Zoo thread. FT gives you 27% rakeback plus some other things like Iron man mid and year end bonuses, medals, FT pOints which bring the total rakeback % higher (especially if you like stuff with the FT logo plastered on it . Interesting to see what Stars actually does as there was a huge outcry from FR players.
