maybe it's me, but I guess you're supposed to snapcall w/ top 2 on riv vs prefl 3better on an AKx board w/ running hearts (and w/o the ace or king of hearts) for 83 bbs like always. I must really not know about hands and their relative strengths and just snap call top 2, or m2p for big riv bets 100% of the time w/o thinking things thru. If I had to ventura a guess, I'm gonna say that U_2Good4_Me wasn't thinking of slowrolling the riv there w/ AK, but was thinking if there really was a chance of being beat...but then, I don't seem to know much of which hands to snapcall w/ and which hands to decide to call off 83bbs on riv w/

Wtf he def wasn't slowrolling you. Anytime someone pushes you in for 85BB on the river where there is many plausible sets and a possible flush you might want to think about it instead of snap calling.

Also, when people slowroll they usually do it with the nuts or close to it because they understand how pathetic they look when they lose. Calling time then calling 80+BB shove on the river with like the 17th nuts isn't a slowroll.

yea that wasn't a slowroll by any means but nikolak that other hand was definately a slowroll unless you were having cpu lag issues or were playing 12342385 tables and forgot about the one where you flopped top set.

guys why are you all scared to play a good reg for 5 minutes hu or 3 handed with 2 good regs?
it usually doesnt take much longer than 5 minutes before 1-2 huge fish join so it is definately +ev ....

i'll just note that it tilts the [censored] out of me when i lose a buyin or two doing this, so i won't do it. i drop one or two, some fish shows up, and i'm stuck to that player forever.

It's a two way street. As long as you are playing relatively close to the level of the reg or regs, you will prob stack him as much as he stacks you. Also if you learn to control your tilt when he stacks you and your opponent doens't, its another edge for you. Finally, both of you will over time split the fish's stack so you are both gaining in the long run while you don't lose anything compared to not playing. There is no real argument not to play that makes any sense unless you (not you but anyone who sits) is drastically worse than the other reg, which normally isn't the case.

it's hard to disagree with any of this, and it's not like i'm sitting out on anyone i've seen before like kaintd77, but there's people i won't play HU (including you, obv), because i just don't think it's worth it. i can always move down and try to find games there. it's not like 5/10 has been a goldmine lately.

btw for all u nits who won't play hu- if you ever want to play 10/20+ your gonna have to learn it sooner or later. yes there are better games, but giving up a small edge hu to start a table where u have a big edge is well worth it.

i talk to kmoney and he is better than most of us but he admits that he is running in god mode. thats why hes winning at the rate hes winning, like basically hed be one of the top winners regardless imo but he just runs like ****ing god so thats why hes winning at such a sick rate.
