yeah fair enough, it just seems a number that requires you to suck on variance's **** for a reasonably long period to win.

In other news, SRO and I have now played 3663 hands, I am down 464.55, he is up $150.00, ftp winning at $314.55

by the way, since these matches are going longer than usual, do you guys think a week is too short for the next rounds? i think we'll probably be done by saturday, but we had almost a week and a half for this round and nobody has finished yet.

if we can all agree on a 3bi cap instead of a 5bi cap, then i have no problem implementing that as soon as next round.

Once you finish your first round match, the winners must submit a vote of yes or no to lower the requirement from a 5bi lead to a 3bi lead.

Wait... I thought if one player was down $500 after 2.5k hands it was over? Can someone explain this more clearly to me if that's not the case?

sounds like Moss was down 7bis including rake but his opponent was never up 5 bis due to rake as well

yea i had clarified in the initial rules that a 5bi lead = +$500 for one player, not -$500 for the other player.

i think it reached the point of him being up something like $460, then we played a hand where i c/c flop c/r turn with nut flush draw bet called river with nut flush vs second nut flush
