Villian is pretty LAG (but good), 27/23/4.
Don't have much history but I think he calls too light on the flop usually.

Im: 23/19/4

5-handed
stacks: $800 (200xbb)

2 folds, He raises OTB, sb folds, I call $10 with 76

$30) Flop: 982
check, he bets $23, I raise to $ $78, he calls.

$186) Turn: Q
I bet $142, is this good/bad??

yeah, this is good.
I think if 100bb's deep, then c/r turn is good, but this deep, this looks good to me.

More interesting question - if he calls and river is blank, how do we like a shove?

What's our line if villain 3-bets the flop?

Depends on the size of the raise; but probably fold.

As played, it looks good. Shove the river.

imo, if the guy is calling the turn, he is going to find a way to call the river(depending on river card)

even if he shouldn't call he probably will.

i like a bet on this turn though

To you who like the bet, would you bet if turn was J/K/A?

I don't think so. I could be wrong obv. but with $200 in there, he is folding for $600 more on river if he is flat calling turn instead of raising

I am not a fan of the flop c/r on the flop UNLESS you plan on representing hearts if they fall as well.

We would be nuts not to.

"We would be nuts not to."

That is not to say the OP had that in mind as part of his motives in c/r'ng in the first place. Infact I wouldn't be surprised if a heart was looked at as a scare card TO him.

Yeah that is true. And in practice, I don't bluff enough, even though it is a perfect spot.
