I have only been playing poker for a couple of months and have much to learn. I would like to know how you would play this hand? Should I bet 88+ from UTG. I generally will limp PP 88+ and Raise PP QQ+ from UTG. Is my bet sizing okay on each street? Should I have bet the turn? I felt if I bet on the Turn that villian would fold. I decided to ship it on the river, hoping villian would think bluff. Should I have bet .75-1.10? Is that more likely to gain value? Any suggestions are appreciated. Villian's stats after 20 hands are 45/10/4.

    Start by not open limping.

And probably just bet every street.

88 cant really play it wrong as in just get money in the pot, however raise turn and then ship river is muuuuch better choice here, river is like overbet ish and villain will get away from overpairs more easy.

Thanks to your limp you've now hit a set in a tiny pot. If you had raised pre you probably would not have this difficulty extracting more money.

The river push doesn't make sense either. If there had been two clubs on the flop and no 3rd one had come then perhaps you could represent a busted flush draw here. What do you think your opponent has in this hand? Anything but maybe the nut flush (which doesn't make sense here) or a boat is going to be folding to a push.

    Betting usually helps.

    raise preflop
    bet flop
bet turn (I suppose checking is okay if you know the guy is really aggro)
    bet river

    profit!

From one noob to another (somebody please correct me if necessary),

I think lead the turn as we don't know villain will bet, in which case we surely lose value if he checks behind. Maybe 1/2 pot?

As played raise turn to get villain committed? Lead river.

you dont have to represent anything against whale, he doesnt think about your range, just shove river for value and hope he like to bluffcatch as most of whales like to do

What is the correct bet sizing here on each street?

Not the way I played it, but the way I should have played it.
