Villain seems to have regish stats. Definitely a lot of Ax for him to valuebet but with us not blocking any flushdraws, got to call the 1/2 sizing? What about vs a 3/4 sizing or full pot?

What would be his calling range pre-flop? (I don't play Zoom)

Note that a FD is only one combo per hand (KQ will only have KsQs) wherehas Ax are 12 combos when they hit a pair (I won't list all the combos here, but you get the idea: Ax takes much more place in his range).

What do you think about betting much smaller on the flop (1/4 to 1/3) as we could get a high yield low risk with our bluffs, as he can't really raise us since we have an equity advantage?

You realise he has like 3 flushes here since As is out and he is going to be tight pre, which also means he basically has to bluff every combo otf. AQ alone is 12 combos and he can have more Ax.

Is this @ me? Flop ain't monotone.

He's opened KJo from UTG is un-standard (and probably -EV) therefore he's going to be open wider than than you think. Hero has tons of suited broadways that make better bets than this that block more calling range + have more barrel opportunites/equity and have less SDV (and less equity vs villains x down range). So we are not lacking bluffs.

Also, if we bet every bluff otf this means we either never bluff after checking flop, or are forced to turn something like 66-99/7x into bluffs which isn't what we want to be doing...

Snap fold pre.

AP agree with fleck chop. I'm probably checking back a fair amount of small Axs in this spot too, and V has plenty Ax themselves so I'm looking to see what V does OTT.
