NL50 What is villain's range on river? NL50 What is villain's range on river?

Villain here is a TAG, but sort of on the passive side. He has been calling my PFR mostly and just playing very passive postflop, so he's sorta a mix of TAG and TP.

Before I post the hand that I want help on, we've played this hand about 5 hands ago, which shows alot about his play.

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

SB: $50.10
BB: $66.45
UTG: $31.30
Hero (CO): $161.60
BTN: $101.65

Pre Flop: Hero is CO with J J
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) 9 7 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3

Turn: ($10.25) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

River: ($19.25) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $6.50, Hero calls $6.50

Spoiler:
Final Pot: $32.25
BB shows 7s 6s (two pair, Nines and Sevens)
Hero shows Jh Jc (two pair, Jacks and Nines)
Hero wins $30.70
(Rake: $1.55)

So we can see that he is calling my preflop raises pretty light and that he wants to keep pots small whenever he has a marginal hand that he likes, but doesn't want to risk too much on one street. This is his way of playing back at me I guess.

So...this hand comes up.

I'm a little unsure if this was the optimal way to play this hand. By the turn, it seems like he has trash and also on the river he has trash (possibly a flush though). Would you double barrel the turn or bluff-raise on the river?

nah you played it well. You could rep. a flush on the river, but he will think he induced with his betsize and snap you off anyway.

Don't double barrel this kind of opponent, he obviously has a penchant for calling it down when he hits a piece of it and probably waiting for you to stop betting to steal it. Played fine. I would double barrel him at some point to establish a baseline as to his behavior on a few more hands.
