I had 25 hands on villain when this hand took place, during which we had not shown down a hand. He was playing very aggressively and was up ~30bbs on me. I was actually about to quit him. I rationalized the pf call by telling myself that I'd be happy to get it in if I flop top pair, then I get there and this hand goes down. Comments on my play up to and including the river appreciated thanks

wow pretty tough spot actually. i really think your beat but not by what you'd expect. He could easily show with 10 10, 9 9, higher K maybe? The flop check throws me off as if just has like AA, but then he doesn't give up after the turn card which makes me think he has a full house. As played i dunno i guess i could fold this one actually.

k one vote for fold...anyone else?

fwiw I like your analysis, but the pf 3 bet was nothing out of the ordinary. His flop play was a bit weird though.

i think you are beat here, either by a better K that decided you dont have a flush or flopped straight, but probably a FH (TT,99) or a good combodraw (AsQs/AsJs) that whiffed the flop checkraise for max FE

weird line by villain. you show aggression on turn, which he should interpret as you liking your hand, then he open shoves river? what a bs line. but then again i can't think of what he's bluffing with here that doesn't have showdown value (unless he 3bets a lot of trash pf). honestly i think i call.

this is a perfect line for a full house (whiffed c/r flop, nuts on turn -> why would he be jamming turn) or QJ

also, any flushcombo (A9, AJ, AQ, 78) got there and tries to get some value from a K

KQ,AK would have bet flop and jammed turn

it might be the perfect line, but experience-wise i never see anyone take this line at 100nl or lower on the river with a flush or fh after i raise the turn.

if it went check/check, b/c, then shove, well ok that makes sense. or if it is a regular raised pot pf (not 3bet) and it went c/c, c/c, open shove, then ok.

but, devil's advocate against myself, i don't know what he's shoving with that doesn't have showdown value if he checks. unless he thinks his AQ/AJ/AT/JT/88 doesn't have that anymore. weird hand.

I called exactly for this reason - I just couldn't see him open shoving the nuts like that. Then again, immediately after clicking call, I thought to myself "WTF do you think you're beating?".

Villian showed 910o and mhig. Honestly, I think he played the hand only slightly worse than I did

First thing i thought when i saw this hand was CALL, it looks like such an obvious bluff. I take this line a lot when i want to appear very strong. For a second there i thought i was villain honestly.
