Villain is 32/24/7 ... and a lagtarded maniac

I'm playing ~23/20 and have been raising a lot OTB. He has donked into me a few times when I raised OTB. I've been folding to his donkbets most of the time.

Only other hand that I've seen where he (he is GimmeThatIsh) loses a big pot:

GimmeThatIsh: raises $1.50 to $2
onlyforgangs: calls $1.50
*** FLOP *** [6s Qd 7d]
GimmeThatIsh: bets $2.50
fiekster joins the table at seat #6
onlyforgangs: raises $3.50 to $6
GimmeThatIsh: calls $3.50
*** TURN *** [6s Qd 7d] [7s]
GimmeThatIsh: bets $52.85 and is all-in
onlyforgangs: calls $17.80 and is all-in
Uncalled bet ($35.05) returned to GimmeThatIsh
*** RIVER *** [6s Qd 7d 7s] [6h]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
GimmeThatIsh: shows [3d 5d] (two pair, Sevens and Sixes)
onlyforgangs: shows [Kc Kh] (two pair, Kings and Sevens)

Here's the actual hand:

3 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) 8 9 7 (2 players)
BB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50

Turn: ($11.25) 4 (2 players)

I don't think he shoves here with a flush and the flush came backdoor. You're good most of the time here. The most dangerous scenario here is that he has Q9 or something for a better two pair.

anyone a fan of raising the turn here? villain likes his hand and a raise could give us some info and make the turn not so "weird"..

This is a bluff or random Q > 50% of the time, call.

I'd call and feel pretty good about it we know he can shove with a lot of random crap and we will be good here most of the time. What I don't like is not raising the turn and though he is a manaic I'd feel much better to get it in here. There is a lot of draws out there and we need to protect our hand.

Raising the turn is an option I guess but I think we lose a lot of value from his pure bluffs by raising. I thought about it and decided to call the turn and a decent sized riverbet (except an 8 or 9).

When he shoved when the Q came, I thought he was FOS so I called

Spoiler:
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Villain: shows [5h Ah] (high card Ace)
Hero: shows [4h 7h] (two pair, Sevens and Fours)
Hero collected $131.25 from pot

I'm raising turn, for value from teh draws. He already put a big part of his stack in.

any flush would value bet.... infact any hand with any showdown value would value bet, this is probably pure air or mid pair/pockets.

raise the turn to charge draws
