This is only 20-30 hands in. Villain turns out to be a pretty laggy player who is willing to get creative, BUT i don't know that in this spot:

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BB: $72.85
Hero (BTN/SB): $59.45

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN/SB with 6 A
Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1

Flop: ($3.00) A K 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

Turn: ($7.00) 6 (2 players)
BB bets $3, Hero raises to $8.50, BB calls $5.50

River: ($24.00) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $13, BB raises to $26,

What do we think of my turn raise, in hindsight i think its too small. Should i be shoving for value here? He tanked for ages before calling my turn raise.

Second spot:

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BB: $58.60
Hero (BTN/SB): $74.20

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN/SB with Q Q
Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1

Flop: ($3.00) 5 T 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

Turn: ($7.00) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $10

Again, i think my turn bet is too small. If we raise, are we really getting called by worse?

Opinions appreciated, gradually moving from hu sngs on euro sites to playing nl50 hu against people buying in for $30 and stacking off with J-high all the time so getting adjusted!

1st hand, I think you're right for the turn raise, you can probably raise to at least 10$. Without read, I would just call the river minraise, but I wouldn't be surprised if he showed a missed draw. The only hand you have beat and you can get value from is A3 imo.

2nd hand, I'd pot here. As played I call the raise, but I think reraising is the worst play. You'll only get called by a made straight, maybe 2 pairs or a set.

Hand one - good you have seen the problem yourself, betting $5.50 into $13 with top and bottom pair on a wet board is a pretty big mistake. You can get so much value from a bigger bet. Flat the raise on river.

Hand 2 is very, very villain dependent and the fact that he is pretty laggy is not enough to help with this hand. Bet sizing is def too small though.
