With TT facing a flop of undercards you want to raise because there are too many scare cards that could come on the turn and river. Any J,Q,K,A = 16 cards. That's about 60% chance by river so you want to find out where you are right now. A raise now will also cost less than the sum of the ever escalating bets between flop and river.

Villain bet almost the Pot and could have 55+ or A5 so you want to raise about the size of the new Pot to fold out the small pairs. It costs $3.50 to call making a Pot of $10.75 so you want to bet about $12. That should fold out all small pairs less than TT.

Villain seems passive so if he re-raises all-in you can fold as it probably means JJ+ or A5. If he calls you're in a tricky spot. If he calls (Pot=$34.75)and bets out at you on the turn I'd fold as he's saying he can easily beat TT. If he checks turn, I'd check behind and you may be facing JJ. I'd be hoping to get to showdown cheaply from here and folding to any big bets. I'd probably call a Value bet on river of quarter pot or less.

Is Villain the type to have just called with QQ+ pre-flop or can you discount them from his range? With no reads and 12/0/1 I'd guess Villain could well have QQ+.

a nit like that always has it, his river bet is enough to tell me my over pair crushed, and if we raise turn or flop he folds anything we beat

yeah i think on the river we are certainly beat altho im not sure on the turn that i dont find a raise. If we are shoved back on we can fold

I'd prefer a flop raise to a turn raise. The earlier the better before scare cards can come.
