First hand of the match so no reads at all, is this an easy snap we always have to do? And yes my raise on flop is to small.

I dont have the proper HH but It was like this:

Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BTN/SB): $50.00
BB: $50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN/SB with A 9
Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1

Flop: ($3.00) 5 9 6 (2 players)
BB bets $1, Hero raises to $3, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $2

Turn: ($12.00) 5 (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero calls $5

River: ($22.00) A (2 players)
BB bets all in $38

I don't think this is a bluff very often. Bet/min3bet is so often superstrong and his whole line screams the nuts for a fish. 66 would be my guess.

I would fold this.

78, 56, 59, 55, 66, and AA are all hands that win. Also backdoor flushes, i dont see us ahead of anything except a 109-K9 value bluff.

tough spot. any timing tells ? our hand is mostly face up by the river but we don't even know if he can handread or whatever. well if you don't pick any timing tells fold i guess, not much you can do readless although since its NL50 he's mostly repping a boat and if he has a boat he can go for a river c/r as well. Also if he has a boat i think he is betting more on turn to have better stack to pot ratio on river. All in all i don't mind a call either, since i don't like to give much respect without a reason early on Some people like going crazy on first hand anw.

As soon as the river came he went all in in a nanosecond it felt like.
After the hand he insta left the table so I thought, damn he bluffed me.

yeah if by "snap" you mean "snap fold"

his behavior after the hand leads me to think he may have been bluffing, but up until then it seems like a guy who got stupid lucky and doesn't know how to play his hand

of course, you can always call and make a note; if he isn't insta-quitting you, you'll get some good information about how he plays
