short stacks can die a slow painful death from aids so any chance i have to get them out of the game and get a full staker in ill take it... youre probably not in that bad of shape

if you get there then wp... if you dont then the short staker has a decent amount of chips and will give them back again

It's fine, you have a gutshot, overs, and a backdoor FD + he may fold.

It's a great play if your goal is to lose money in the long run.

what's your image at the table?

without any reads or stats on villain i think this play is spewy. he could limp monster here if you have iso-raised his or other player limps often.

usually these half/lil over half-pot bets on flop are mid pairs. if he's betting buttom pair we could push him of his hand, but i don't see 6 in his limp-calling range here very offten, only hands 66 and A6 maybe in extreme situation he could have 76s. if he has 8 or 9 i don't think he's folding those hands here ever.

if we assume he has 8 or 9 i think he could limp call something like this range [Q9s-Q8s, J9s, T8s+, 98s, Q9o, J9o, T9o, 98o] and this range is pretty loose and against that range we have 32% equity. also reasonable hand he could limp call is JTo/s and again we need reads about is he playing draws aggro or not.

so basically this comes up to reads, what's your image and how this villain is playing in BvsB situations when ever1 folds, is he playing draws aggro? without these reads we can just shove and hope to hit T/A/runner runner flush or straight.

You really shouldn't just say something like that if you don't give reasoning behind it. Especially since you disagree w/everyone else.

I think it's fine, you have pretty good equity against anything he calls with short of a set. You also have quite a bit of FE imo, and it's definitely possible you have the best hand right now.
