Villain was 23/7 over 70ish hands. Kinda fishy seemed to try and win every pot they were in. Other two callers were nitty regs.

I made the turn raise is big to try and get as much value as i can from draws but then the worst card in the deck hits the river.

Any value in betting here at all? If so how much? Are we ever calling a raise?

I can't see us getting called by worse. I'd check it back.

Love the turn bet though.

Against someone this fishy, I think he's calling a river value bet with a ton of hands you have crushed.

When you say he tries to win every pot that he's in, do you mean he makes lots of crazy raises and big bluffs? Because if that's the case, I MIGHT consider checking river, but I would default on betting this river, and then sizing up a re-raise if it comes.

But at the end of the day, I think we are leaving tons of value on the table if we don't bet this river.

I would disagree with you on this given the villain. If he has a high diamond or even a 5 in his hand, it seems like fishies will often talk themselves into stupid hero calls.

I see what your saying. I guess we would need to know if this villain is aggressive with his big hands or not. I can't imagine many villains not betting this flop with a 5 with 4 people in the pot.

True, a good player would lead out here 100% of the time with a 5, but fishies will often be like "OMG flopped trips, what do I do??? Bet? No......SLOWPLAY!!!!!"
They won't neccessarily recognize this flop as dangerous.

With that said I really doubt that he has a 5 in his hand, but its not impossible. I just think that he had a great hand, hates the river as much as you do, but isn't good enough to lay it down.
