Now I don't have the hand history but I can explain the hand.

History
Villain in question was a loose fish. I'd seen him cc flop gs draw and then cr blank turn all in against a ss. I'd stacked him previously when I raised KQ, he less than min 3b, I called and he cc 3 streets on Q9xxx board with TT.

Now to the hand.

6 handed
MP Hero $95 88
SB Villain $85 ??

Preflop - I raised to $2 and he called from sb.

Flop
7s 4c 3c
Pot $4.5

Hero bets $4 into pot and villain bets $8

Hero???

I'd call for sure. C/r on the flop is rarely the nuts, whereas on the turn it's often the nuts. Also, don't like re-raising the flop.

Imo min c/r on the flop is often a "I don't think you've hit this flop so I'll raise" bet. And they shut down on the turn after you call the flop.

...calls because we are too deep to 3bet/c the flop.

Btw what is a "less than min 3bet" ?

Well in that particular hand i iso raised a limper to $2.25 and then the fish villain came back over the top with a $4 3 bet.
