NL50 line check, 2nd barrel this? NL50 line check, 2nd barrel this?

Villian is running at 31/24/4 over 300 hands. This guy would fold to double barrel's but this just seemed like a horrible time to even attempt it. Am I wrong about this? Would anyone dare to fire another here?

Secondary to that, is the river a good time to take a shot either? This feels like a standard play to me but i'm wondering if I'm leaving anything on the table in this type of situation. Thanks all.

Played fine imo, the J on the turn is more likely to strengthen his hand than make it worse.

The turn really doesn't change much, except fold out Tx type hands, so I like a check behind. On the river, I think we get looked up by any Q or T at the absolute least. We will really only possibly fold 88, 99, or missed draws, in which case I'd rather just check it down as we have showdown value. Its too thin for value and I don't think we fold much bluffing.

+1

Good analysis... river is way too thin for a vb imo, and we do have showdown value.

Turn is not a good card to double barrel on because it might have gave him a straight draw or two pair. I would consider double barreling another card than the J to make a T fold. On the river your hand have showdown value and you are not bluffing anything that you beat and your not vb anything that you beat either. You played it good.
