Villain is a horrible LP player, and I have been running him over. He hasn’t really ran a big bluff yet, but in the last 2 pots we’ve played, I’ve won both without showdown and just recently, his pocket AAs got cracked so he may be on tilt (he also made a comment in the chatbox about how unlucky he is). So he’s basically a loose-passive player who hasn’t made any big moves yet. Are you making the call on the river? If not, are you folding to the flop raise or to the turn bet? I doubt he’s value betting with worse at this point, and the hands I can see him having are 88, AK, A8, A6, and A5. He’s not pushing here with worse, so basically the only justification I have on making the call is the fact that he is a horrible player (which he is) AND on tilt at the moment. I just have a bad feeling about this hand and do not feel like risking over 100BB on what I feel is a very marginal call. However, IF the villain is on tilt and is going to try and run a big bluff, this is the time that he would do it.
I called the flop and turn because I felt that my hand is good there sometimes.
Given that the player is horrible and very capable of doing this with complete air, would you rather fold on the earlier streets or play it differently? Are any of you considering donk-betting the turn or on the river as blocking bets in order to keep the pot small?
