hi

Boss Media (IPN) No-Limit Hold'em, €0.50 BB (3 handed) - BossMedia Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (SB) (€89.90)
BB (€48.95)
Button (€7.50)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, K
1 fold, Hero bets €1.50, BB calls €1.50

Flop: (€3) Q, 10, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets €2.25, BB calls €2.25

Turn: (€7.50) J (2 players)
Hero bets €5, BB raises to €22.50, Hero

villain is 20/10/36(afq)/2.5(af) over 100 hands. 1 3bet/42 (2% roughly). At the time I really thought he is weak, passive player.

I obv thought wtf is going on on the turn, my face must have looked funny. He is literally repping someone, who doesnt want to let me bluff/wants to pay more rake. Do I call down?
thanks

Yeah, i work for the poker room, they pay me to post here so players are shoving and they collect more rake.

serious question. Why is shoving better than calling?

Please dont tell me is because you dont want to pay the rake if villain happens to have one of the remaining Kx .....

obv not, Im just pointing out to a fact that we are splitting at best.

My thinking was: villain is never bluffing. He is weak, passive and bluffing here is just too bad for any lagtard. Does villain raise this much with an 8? Nah, too stupid. AK? He didnt 3bet pf, did he?

That basically leaves stupidly played K, stupidly played AK and bluffs. There is no value to get, he is not folding better and I have nothing to protect against.

Just shove. People are stupid enough % of the time to pay you off with 8x here. It will be +EV to shove and you don't have to worry about rake.

He could have AK, it's not that unlikely since this guy is so passive and he has no 3betting game. Based on this guy's overall game (no 3 betting), it's probably profitable for him to flat AK out of the blinds. Don't think that just because you never have AK here means a passive fish can't.

It's unlikely, but to me he has proven he has Kx here, so it's definitely in his range.
