Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players - View hand 39678
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BTN/SB): $64.85
BB: $86.75

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN/SB with K A
Hero raises to $1.50, BB raises to $5, Hero raises to $13, BB calls $8

Flop: ($26.00) 2 3 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $18, BB raises to $73.75 all in, Hero calls $33.85 all in

Turn: ($129.70) 5 (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: ($129.70) Q (2 players - 2 are all in)

40/33, not that aggro, for example he just called me IP with a overcard+FD. no earlier 4bet history, he was a 33% 3bet and general preflop was very aggressive.

bet/calling seems spewy to me without reads suggesting, that he would bluff here a lot. He is repping a narrow range here tho so I would hate B/F-ing too.

Why not check behind?

This is pretty heinous given he's flatted your 4bet, and this is the first 4bet hand. I don't like it much, and would defo. check behind flop for pot control

yeah i already thought this. i seem to get this sort of black out problems when im actually playing. if i look back and study what i did im seeing all my flaws and knowing what im doing wrong. however im still unable to bring theory into practice. do any of you guys have similair problems?

I think everyone but the best players suffer from this to some degree, it certainly helps verbalising your thought processes, (even if members of your family/friends think you are a freak), and making videos will help with this.

slowing down and taking your time to make each decision in the heat of the battle is a learnt skill, and one you'll need to master if you are to make it...I still haven't got it on all occasions.. gl.

a common situation. played around in stoxEV. you need to be checking back. Cbetting here costs you about $5 in EV assuming you're calling his all-in. If you ever fold to the all-in its far worse. Bottom line is you have around 45% equity on the flop, and unless you hit a Q or K on the turn/river you want to get away from the hand.

Your flop play was terrible. If your plan was to just get it in regardless of what the flop was, then why not just shove pre?

dude, there's no shame in checkfolding here.

I struggle with this sometimes too, though I know its a bad play. I rationalize it by thinking i would have gotten it in pre, and it probably wouldve been flip, so i can get it in now and not care. But basically by cbetting, your folding everything worse against most opponents as not many people will bluff here. Pretty much any pair is shoving flop, so you're behind almost always. The best line is to check it back, and hope you spike turn or he checks again.
