Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

UTG: $167.50
MP: $51.55
CO: $64.10
Hero (BTN): $50.00
SB: $48.85
BB: $24.70

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with 7 T
3 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) 7 8 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3

Turn: ($10.25) Q (2 players)
BB bets $2, Hero ?

Villain in this hand is the fishiest of fish. He's loose-passive and plays every hand. Of the last 3 pots I've been in with him, I've had him isolated and taken the pot down with a c-bet, so keep that in mind.

Do you think I can call here or is it just too likely that I'm beat and should wait for a better spot?

I end up calling these bets just so that some part of their brain doesn't click and realize they can float you for next to nothing. Maybe a leak, but I call turn/fold to a reasonable river bet. I probably call the river if it's another 4BBs just to see what he had.

I think both folding and raising are better than calling here; I usually fold but I think there is merit in raising because it's really doubtful he's donking with a flush/straight/set here. More likely some weak made hand trying to push you off your high cards.

given your reads i think this is a really easy fold.

a raise from a loose/passive fish is a raise from a loose/passive fish, no reason to think we are ahead and no reason to think he will fold. I think this can be a really strong hand and even if it isn't a weaker made hand does not mean the fish will fold.

Call for $2 here. He either picked up a draw or made his flush, either way you have marginal showdown value.

Call of course. Bluff-raising is ok too.

i saw donks bet like that with medium pocket pair (JJ,10's,99's) to watch your reaction when the scare card hits (Q in that case). so raising is good too.
