Don't title your thread "I got sucked out on or ran into a monster, so I posted it here"

Raising PF is probably worse than the limping QQ pf idea (see other thread). But hey, Im always open to suggestions. Please defend yourself against my unprovoked attack.

OP,

I hate hate hate catch all mantras. Especially dont go broke with TPTK and do not go broke in unraised pots.

You need to ask yourself here what type of villain do you think this is. Without a read, its tough. If you think he is dumb enough to stack off JT here like this, this is fine. If he seems nitty, then he has 77.

i play it the same.

i dont mind the raise PF idea but only if with reads that btn and sb are weak tight. then they are either likely to fold to your raise or fold to a cbet enough to make it profitable. readless i dont do it.

Its fine, you didnt go broke as villain was only in for 70BB.
But not much you can do about it...

I feel like raising this hand pf is a kamikaze stunt

lol at raising PF. You played it fine, especially considering he only has a 70BB stack

why wouldn't you open this hand from BB now and then with this action? Button and SB both show weakness...feels to me that if you just do this incidentally your earning yourself a couple of BB's.

We need his stats to tell properly, but if he was LAGy we can say hes almost certainly raising any pair, so thats a set unlikely.

At first i thought he raises Q10/J10/910 (LAG) but maybe he just limp.
Q-10 looks most likely to me.

Youv also got to consider possibilty of pair and flush draw on turn
K-7s???????

but what do i know...
