Villain - Breakeven REG. Table FR (left 5Max after fish left). 21/17/7,2 after 2k hh. BB call vs CO 14%, FvCB OOP 46(13)/0(2), donk turn 14%, WWSF 40, W$SD 47, WTSD 21

BB: $50.00
UTG: $54.92
Hero (CO): $51.81
BTN: $50.80
SB: $50.50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with 8 J
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.30, 2 folds, BB calls $0.80

Flop: ($2.85) A 8 K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.75, BB calls $1.75

Turn: ($6.35) Q (2 players)
BB bets $4.50, Hero raises to $13.50, BB calls $9

River: ($33.35) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $22, BB calls $22

My flop plan 3barrel. Turn lead capped range = max 2Pair (KQ and maybe K8s,Q8s). I block nuts (JT) + set (88).
I think it's best hands to bluff, same play with T8s. Also here I have ton value (AA,KK,AK,88,JT). It's good spot to bluff?

Villains line screams AQ or QK, and no, i dont think you can make him fold that in this river with a standard bet.

I liked your line and your reasoning until the turn, but after he called i think i give up on the river-

I don't think he has AQ (he always should 3B that, especially shorter table). KQ yeah, only one hand. But when he leads turn, I don't think he ever fold vs raise, all folds come on the river. Only 1 question is my turn raises size (should be bigger, to shove river not fullpot or overbet). Like I played, I'm not sure what size of bet fullpot AI (river eff.stack $33,45 into $33,35) or 70% bet, getting more folds.

From the villain's perspective, I see your river bet as a bluff and snap calling with 2 pair.

When you raise on the turn, I will put you on TJ, a draw, or a set. TJ should be shoving the river, and sets probably betting bigger too. 2/3s pot bet on the river shouldn't be the nuts and can be a busted draw.

I dont think you should be bluffing the river on a wet board like this one when he calls your turn raise.

If your going to bluff the river I think you will have more success doing it on a flush board.

You should use a 80% pot bet i think a 80% pot bet will do the same thing that a full pot bet will do if villain is willing to call 80% bet he will call a full pot bet.

The 20% we save will make a big difference long term.
