Villain is a complete unknown. He just sat down, so just by his stack-size i figure he is somewhat clueless.

Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN: $88.13
Hero (SB): $49.50
BB: $42.14
UTG: $137.28
MP: $72.73
CO: $49.39

Pre Flop: Hero is SB with A A
4 folds, Hero raises to $2, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.00) 6 J 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $3, BB calls $3

Turn: ($10.00) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, BB raises to $13, Hero calls $6.50

I think he could peel the flop with a pretty wide range. his min-raise on the turn is meh and i have decided that i don't mind stacking off.
however, i feel that there's more value in letting him do the betting, rather than push here, since his range still is quite wide.

good idea or bad idea?

I don't know. I'd advocate a push here, especially since you don't mind stacking off. He may have woken up with a set, but he could also have AJdiamonds.

I would 3bet the turn (probably just shove) to get money in from draws and a J. I am never folding AA in BvB so I might as well put it in now that I have great equity vs draws. Also I am quite sure he has some sort of hand so calling to induce a bluff is maybe not the best idea as he might check behind the river.

Instapush turn, not even close imo, if he has 65/set too bad, but he will call here with AJ, maybe KJ.

in regards to giving him the rope, realize that unless he's really spew happy which you can't assume for an unknown yet, most of the range that he will bet out on the river will probably be beating you, there are scare cards for you that he can bluff on that result in 4 straights and flushes, an ace that falls will kill the action if he does have the j-x hand, and you won't be getting the value that out of draws he may have from a turn bet...in short, shove the turn
