What do you think about the flop raise?
What about the call of the reraise?
River?

The preflop 2x was weird. I know. Feel free to admonish me about that. I was trying something with the fish who limped. History. Long story, not relevant to the rest of the hand.

BTW I messed with the HH code so you don't see the real showdown.

i'd just call flop, you don't have much fold equity by raising into two players here. as played, you've sorta committed yourself to the pot since the SB has so little money left.

Min raise pre is bad, call flop

Trying this smaller ISO pre seems like something out of a Jason Somerville video. I'm sure it's totally standard in the games that he plays, but as you found out here it's somewhat less effective at these stakes.

No need to raise flop, you're effectively committing yourself when something like this happens and at best you're going to have 35% or so.

Edit: forgot to add that by calling we allow the other dude in the hand (the one that just flatted the donk lead on front of us) to come along with weaker flush draws if he should have them.

Thanks guys. It all makes sense.

I was experimenting with flop raises. I've had a lot of success with them, but not in spots like this. This hand had, as you guys said, at least 2 factors which I think made it a bad spot for raising.

    1) It was multiway
    2) Ace on board, multi-way. Someone is likely to have an ace.

And yeah, getting good odds on the flop to call that 10 cent donk. Then Villain's min re-raise on the flop, hard to fold with the odds. Got committed and screwed myself.

Villain ended up with AK of clubs, so I was drawing to 5 outs.
