My thoughts:
  • Flop is a c-bet for me a) to get 6 outers to fold (suited connectors) and b) I plan on bluffing a good turn against Ax
  • Turn is a card that doesn't really hit is range (mine neither), but I think Ax can't really call a second barrel unless they picked up the flush draw. Not sure how loose he's calling the flop, but I assume the number of combinations between pocket pairs (non-set) and Ax is pretty even, so a bluff should be a good investment. If he folds a split KQ, I'm also happy
  • River I actually think I'm ahead now. If he has AK, than that's bad luck. I wonder what the best value line is -- bet 1/2 again to get called by smaller pockets or check to induce a bluff by Ahxh or a value bet by Khxh? I don't think there will be a lot of bluffs here

I don't cbet here I think. Let's say he calls 3bets with 77-TT and AQs-ATo and occasionally a suited connector. He puts your range on Ax and pocket pairs, with more Ax type hands.

He knows there's a decent chance you whiff this flop, calls with Ax to see what you do and definitely with all his pocket pairs (even 55 if it's part of his range). So no worse hands call, no better hands fold, low equity against his range. I see no reason to bet and give up this hand on the flop if bet.

Turn I definitely don't build the pot further (same reasoning as above) and give up if I face resistance (12% to improve hand with 2 overcards - not all outs count btw against AQ and AK).

River: you now have 120BB behind your earlier bets and they're mostly in play. I think bet smallish to avoid losing a large pot to AK, get a hero call from JJ. Fold to a raise. As you say, there won't be a lot of bluffs (zero actually) given your line if you bet. I don't like a check because he might overbet and make your decision a lot harder.
