Hi, I have a really hard time with these hand, I played yestesterday and still have no 100% idea what to do (I mean, I know I cannot call, but the rest...). My opponent was kinda tricky, but before this hand he has looked like ABC guy postflop, but this time it might be different. My problem is that as a tag player, from my point of view, I have very polarized hand range (same as he has) in this spot, it could be exploitable and these situations are very problematic for me, so thx for any advice. Villain stats: 36/25. Cold call from BTN 22% and postflop agr factor 1,7.

His post flop AF says it all. He's loose passive, so a raise post flop is just likely to mean 2P+

Ditch it and move on

With those sizings you`ll never beat 5nl.

Why not give actual advice related to his bet sizing then?

Pre-flop?
Flop?
Or turn?

4x seems ok at these limits.
Considering the flop is fairly dry, isn't betting closer to pot on the flop folding out too many worse hands? (Unless Hero has a read that Villain is a frequent peeler.)

Check/fold when you don't block villain's value range. A river could be a call.

I think calling turn is probably best given stats unless you know he's pretty nitty/passive with his raising ranges.

So you're suggesting: Because he'll check back River with a lot of his medium strength hands when the flush comes in... he has more a lot more pure bluffs in his River betting range?

But, isn't he raising the turn with the spade draw some of the time? Is Villain really going to be completely polarised to KK+ or pure air on the turn?

He's going to raise spades on the turn and value bet flushes on the river. Which means you block some of his value range with the Qs.

And he might drop some of his weaker value bets, which means his range gets more narrow and blockers more important.

Villain would not raise a draw at these limit on the turn and he has a low aggression factor... probably has a set, saw the spade draw and decided to get it in now. The only hand you beat that would do this is JJ or air, but his AF suggests he doesn't bluff much. IMO you should fold.

But if Hero's Q already blocks a lot of those hands: AsQs, KsQs, QsJs, QsTs, then why is Hero calling the turn-raise? How much else in Vs range can we beat?
