I've read various things on the forums here about playing draws aggressively. This is my most recent attempt at applying this. I had less than 40 hands on MP1 at the time, so no real reads, although he's not a super nit and has been playing a few hands.
Preflop: I'm on the button and have 1 raiser + 1 caller in front, so I feel this is a reasonable spot to draw to a flush/low-straight. Is this okay?
Flop: I've got a nut flush draw here. In addition to the remaining spades I'm also counting the other two 4's as outs (to make me trips). I'm not counting the aces, because MP1 could have AK here.
So that's a grand total of 11 outs. To get a rough probablity of hitting one by the river I multiply by four, that is, I think i'm 44% to make the best hand by the river.
Taking into account the money already in the pot and the small amount of fold equity from hands like KJ or QQ/JJ etc plus the ~44%, I figured this was a good place to be raising and potentially getting AI. Is this a good play?
Any comments welcome
Edit:
I appreciate this is fairly basic stuff, I'm just wanting to check that what I'm doing is right, is all.
