i thought about that, but you have to see his preflop play; limp in early position and reraise after a raise looks for me often like kings or aces.

or does he have often enough weaker holdings that a raise on flop would scare him off his hand?

I see this read posted so many times, and I agree with it, but it really makes me want to start pulling this move with different hands, suited connectors, blanks, etc. to see if I can scare a few dollars out of people.

I think you played it well. The flop is almost as dry as Oprah's (discussion skills ldo you dirty old man) so I don't mind playing slowball. If we raise on the flop we fold out worse hands and better hands raise. Now, on the river I'd probably put him AI. He doesn't have much at all left and I think he'd bet more with AA/a set/2 pair and he's commited to our push so he has to call with any K, J, QQ etc.

because of his limp/raise preflop i put him there on aces or kings.

it was actually no slowplay, i just was scared and thought about folding or calling =)

what would you say about 4betting preflop?

normally calling with AK preflop is no good.

Yes, a limp/min-raise can be AA, KK or QQ but I've seen A7, 89s, J6 and 99 too, you just never know. I would not 4-bet pf because we are getting such good odds to call due to his min-raise.

i would raise here often because i can make fold queens sometimes and more often jacks and tens.
and i really wanna see those hands folding.
you still think calling is the better play?
