Villan is a good reg who is defending BB vs SB pretty light.
He's folding around 50% to cbets but he's betting 95% IP when checked to.
So my plan OOP was to check raise him allot.

Party, $2/$4 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #12723712

    BB: $408.50 (102.1 bb)
    BTN: $1,144.81 (286.2 bb)
    Hero (SB): $458.20 (114.6 bb)
    CO: $412 (103 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $12, BB calls $8

    Flop: ($24) J 3 A (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $17.10, Hero raises to $56, BB calls $38.90

    Turn: ($136) J (2 players)
Hero bets $102, BB raises to $340.50 and is all-in, Hero calls $238.50

    River: ($817) 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

    Spoiler:
    Results: $817 pot ($2 rake)
    Final Board: J 3 A J 5
    BB showed J Q and won $815 ($406.50 net)
Hero showed A Q and lost (-$408.50 net)

This is a perfect spot for a check-raise. He's defiantly going to bet allot of air IP that are going to fold to cbet.

What do you guys think is the optimal play vs him on the turn?
    Bet/fold, bet/call, check/call?, check/fold?

He's defiantly capable bluffing this turn but am I overplaying my hand?

Don't see many people bluffing here, including people in your spot. So if you're never bluffing and he's never bluffing... I'm guessing you're pretty far behind here with one pair.

i like it. i assume that if there is any hand villain checks back on the flop it is Jx, so i would discount it from his range a lot. your line looks suspicious in his eyes cause imo he is likely to expect your c/r range to be way more polarised. and why would you bet a turned full house that big? you just dont rep any value hands in his eyes imo. thats why i think he might play all diamond fds and all turned heart broadway fds that way.

Villain has 0 fold equity even if we are on a FD and he probably knows it.

we need 29% equity to call.

yeah but i have thought about it again and now i like a c/c turn, c/f river more actually, cause he can definitely put us on AA, JJ, AJ when we c/c the turn and that will prevent him from bluffing the river a bit.

i still dont think bet/calling turn is that bad though.
