PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

Hero (Button) ($412)
SB ($1592.60)
BB ($556.30)
UTG ($816.50)
MP ($394.70)

I think it was the first orbit played.
Just have 40 hands of BB:
MP: 40hands / 35/28/1.7

so would it be missplayed if I bet river or it is pretty standard when betting turn, I also have to bet the river?
My thinking was, he often got any pp, which he calls on the flop but folds on the turn when the Q appears

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, 9
1 fold, MP calls $4, Hero bets $16, 1 fold, BB calls $12, MP calls $12

Flop: ($50) J, 2, 6 (3 players)
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $30, BB calls $30, 1 fold

Turn: ($110) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $77, BB calls $77

River: ($264) 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ...???,

u r betting into 3 ppl on the flop, thus ur perceived range is very strong. he prolly wont peel light

i dont like the flop cbet being 4way. someone just has to have a hand

don't fire this river
don't fire the turn

if he called the turn he's never folding to a river bet here.

He has Jx... I think a river bet is great.

do you not think bb peels 88 on the flop? we are 3way btw and the only player left to act after bb was a fish who limp/called

i like it a lot if ur image isnt horrible he has a hard time calling with Jx and that makes a big part of his range ... i though just bet 175ish. should do the same job ...

You're cbetting all your bluffs on that flop, obviously villain is calling any pair. The turn is such an obvious dbl barrell card he'll call his mid pairs some % of the time and a J is not folding. By betting the river there's a good chance the remaining pp's and 9Ts, TJs, KJs folds. If he's a reg you can also make the bet look extremely valuetowny, like 166. Doesn't have to work often...

The CB is fine against two opponents on such a dry board. If I get called I would just give up most of the time.

I don't like to bet the river even if I bet the turn.

River bet is okay once in a while but probably Villain-dependent. Some players flop TP and simply cannot let go, others are capable of folding it by the river.

You have 40 hands tracked on BB and he called the turn.

Needs some big nuts to fire a third barrel on this board.

Turn bet is good, not firing the river when called.

As played I think a river bet is mandatory. If you're going to C bet this flop I think you have to follow up on a lot of turn/river combos and this is one of them.
