Hey Guys,

I was unsure about how i should have played the turn here.
Villain is 19/18/1,3 AFQ 28%, 3b 4% and he is exclusivel 3betting from BTN and BB. From BB it's 6%. He's a decent player without any fancy moves.
I decided to call his 3bet from position. On flop it's a pretty obvious call. On turn after his check should I betfold and make folding his Ax, Kx type hands? Or should i just check behind for pot control and avoiding checkraise by JJ+?

OTT i would bet like $7-ish because any J,Q,K,A or heart is bad.
By betting turn we could get c/r by JJ+ (alhough they would hardly c/r JJ, prob only QQ+), but than we can just fold.
If we would have just checked back turn then they would lead out the river with JJ(QQ)+. And then we would prob call, so we won't be able to put less money in the pot when we check back turn

And maybee we can get one call from worse OP's, but not often

Also, we herbey balance our FLoats in 3bet pots. Everyone says: Don't balance raw raw. But i think that is pretty important in 3bet pots vs regs

The BIG downside of betting turn is we could get c/r by bluffs, but your villian seems pretty straightforword and prob wouldn't (most players wont')

Thanks for the advice, actually wanted to avoid being checkraised by big PPs and just checked behind. Was a mistake, as river was an annoying Ace. But I would have been in trouble with any J, Q, K as well.
So I'm with you that betting is far more superior on the turn and should have used my position better.

After he checks he almost never has a big pp, bet for value/protection.

b/f 7.5.

check is basicly the same as we have to fold against raises OTR but call any river bet if we check.

You cant fold to any card OTR if you check behind here.
