Villain 22/18 over 2.4k hands. AF by street 6.7 - 6.1 - 3.8. WWSF 49%. Overall aggressive. This is the third time I 3bet him this session, he has folded so far (fold to 3bet 82%). There are 2 fishes on the blinds which is probably why I shouldn't 3bet there but I'm more interested in postflop. SB is 50/25 over 8 hands.

I check behind flop because I don't see much value in betting plus it disguises my hand. I'm lost on the turn. What hands does he bet there? Should I just fold because his hand range is pretty strong since he folds so much preflop?

Everest - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players

CO: $54.70
Hero (BTN): $30.45
SB: $24.35
BB: $11.50
UTG: $135.66

SB posts SB $0.15, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: ($0.40) Hero has 3 A

UTG raises to $0.90, fold, Hero raises to $3.10, SB calls $2.95, fold, UTG calls $2.20

Flop: ($9.55, 3 players) A T 2
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($9.55, 3 players) 9
SB checks, UTG bets $4.80, Hero calls $4.80, fold

River: ($19.15, 2 players) Q
UTG bets $12.40, Hero?

As LuckyKid said, fold pre, youre not even suited. there doesnt seem to be much game plan in this besides trying to pick it up pre. you get callers with A3o and you flop an ace, what more were you expecting? Definitely bet flop, if anyone calls I'd probably shut down.

Don't 3bet pre, check flop, than call turn. What are you representing and why are you giving someone else lead?

3B with Axs > Axo pre.

Bet flop and shut down unimproved.

I don't agree with fold pre vs an 80% 3bet folder. It is not an auto 3bet but since you can't call bluffing with a blocker is a posibility, and will make our 3bet range a bit more difficult to play against.

Post flop I don't like at all, you have to bet flop since inducing them to bet OTT sucks, and giving free cards on this board also sucks.

Just fold pre, why play dominated hand against some one who is 22/18

3 betting pre is a very aggressive line you are taking and risking 10% of your stack against hands that not only got you beat but crushed most of the times when called. Also raising to pick up $1.30 doesn't make much of a sense.

Fold pre

Dont really like pre if you think we can get cold called in the blind a fair amount because that induces multiway and forces us to play somewhat standardly postflop and A3o is just a damn horrible holding in that kinda spot. I like flop check but fold turn

The reason I checked flop is because I can't get 2 streets of value from a ten and it gives a chance for someone to hit a king or a queen for example.

I wasn't aware that there are 2 whales on the blinds. If there were only 1 or 0 I think 3betting is good. For those saying that A3o is a bad hand to 3bet - any hand is good to 3bet in position and A3o has blockers and can hit TP. A3s I'd call more often than 3bet.

3betting is ok, but you have to cb this flop

You're hand is ok to 3b but remind that you are 3b UTG.. I suggest you now how much % he opens in that particular position? As played ok, maybe fold pre, depends on PFR% UTG. Fold river, only thing you beat is air which he never has here.

This. Some people might have very high fold to 3bet stats, but if they open from UTG 5% of the time is likely that they don't fold that much from that position.
