I hate situations like this and have no idea what to do, hes quite nitty, 15/4 over 50 hands. Would it be a good idea just to raise and fold to aggression? Or can I just flat this and see how he plays the turn?

i think folding is way to passive, atleast call. i lean towards raising and if you get more action be done with the hand.

Is he generally donking out with a draw here? or is this villian dependant

does he play passively post flop also? i just cant fold top pair to one bet on the flop. atleast call and reevalate. if he is passive postflop its not likely he has a draw. do yo have any history with him?

I reviewed all my donk bets over 100k hands and the majority of hands people donk out are mediocre crap and draws.. about 10% donk out with made hands so find out if they can lay down their hand to a raise and if they can't profit =D.. a donk lead is a mediocre hand almost always

I think you're way ahead of his donking range, and you should atleast call.
Raise is not very good because hes not gonna call you unless he has you beat or he has a draw. So i think you should just call and reevaluate turn.

Fold pre-flop. As played, I would fold the flop also.

What game do you play that A2s opening in the CO is a fold?

Stay away from those Ax hands, it's just trouble for you like now.
Your just not good enough yet to play them.
A7s i would start opening from cutoff.

Currently 20NL euros on Unibet. Super loose games, and from my observations hand like that just aren't profitable to play from the CO. Depends on the table ofcourse, and I'm in comparison to most pretty tight (13/11/4.8).

I gotta say I don´t have experience with the Stars 25NL though.

I think this is usually a weak made hand or a draw. I'd call the bet and hope to get to showdown without putting in any more money.

I think folding here is fine given that the player seems to be tight and passive (even though it's not over many hands).

I doubt he's donking into 2 other players with T 9 or w/e.

Fold PF. Your basically playing A2s for the nut flush draw and that's it, when you hit your ace then you don't want action. I would much rather open T8o, 86s etc. As played I would just call because when you raise you are risking money where if you just call you get to see how he reacts to another card and then you can get away from what is probably the worst hand.

Open this PF everytime in the CO with nitty blinds. It is like printing money. With this flop I am calling the flop and reevaluating the turn. IE: Praying he doesn't but so I can take it down/

preflop raise of any suited ace from the CO is pretty routine even for players on the tight side.

On the flop, there are a few nits/really bad and straightforward players that you can fold your pair of aces to one bet. The majority of players, however almost always go for a c/c or a c/r with a set or 2 pair on this board since you have initiative, and your chance of Cbetting an A high flop is extremely high.

A donk bet is pretty weak here and can be middle pair and naked draws a lot, and he wants to take the initiative away from you because his hand can't stand multi barrel bluffs. In my experience a lot of donk betting is done with a mediocre hand to "scare" the opponent into playing straight forward because they know they can be blown off of it easily. Since your in position you can exploit this and you happen to have a hand that beats a lot of mediocre hands, so floating in position is a profitable play here. On a blank if its checked to you I think you can b/f for value, or if the nit double barrel's with a big bet you can fold there also.

I like raising in this spot too sometimes, but usually with missed hands and draws rather than your A2, because it has too much showdown value to be turned into a bluff. To be sure, he can easily be protecting a better ace here a decent amount of the time, but your probably going to be ahead of donkbetters range enough to make it worth your while to play a few streets.
