NL25
0pp 28/23/4.0

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, 4
3 folds, Hero raises to $0,75, BB calls $0,50.

Flop: ($1,50) 8, 7, A (2 players)
Hero bets $1,43, BB calls $1,43.

Turn: ($4,36) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $3,11, BB calls $3,11.

River: ($10,58) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $3,00, BB raises to $9,00, Hero folds.

I have 2 questions here:
1. are my betting amount OK on flop and turn?
2. can we play river like that?

For me its like OK, but I am not sure, so maybe there are other opinions how to play this hand.
Thanks in advance

Just fold PF vs such a player, most time you will bring yourself in trouble here...

As played c/f River, what do you beat?

Yeah this is a fold. If you are going to bet the river, bet more, your bet looks weak compared to the card, it's just begging for a bluff raise if your opponent has the guts.

In any case, I'm pretty sure you're beat. I can't see why he'd call you down if not for the flush draw, or a better ace.

c/f river, if you are going to bet make it at least 7. Id also c/f turn against some villains

PF is fine if you have at least some indication that BB will fold to this raise, otherwise muck.

flop and turn are fine, but the river isn't good. you beat pretty much nothing at this point - if it wasn't the 9 of hearts and you bet a little bit bigger i would probably be more okay with it. but with the third heart and our weak kicker c/f river becomes a better play.

dont play A rag OOP especially from the blinds

I preffer a c/c on river rather than a b/f
