No reads,notes, or previous hands with villian. I'm still frustrated I didn't have the....fortitude....to bet the river. My gut said check/call, my brain after the fact says bet. Any justification for the check?

Grunch: 2.75 otf is fine, 7.85 ott, shove river - why are you afraid of the flush? QT is virtually impossible and you only lose to KQ-KT (and that's optimisticly wide) and JT type hands

i like the flop bet sizing, now the turn why would u check??.. alot of guys will slow play sets here with the intention of raising the turn so bet close to pot ott, only hands your folding out that he should have is qq which shouldnt even call the flop bet in the first place so alot of the time hes getting rdy to shove the turn with a weaker set here.. btw this is all dependent on if hes a reg, even a fishcakes should have something here enough to justify stacking off ott or otr, you played the hand too passively & missed tons of value.. forget about what he actually had, in that spot that gets run 100x vs same type of villain or random villains you cant or should never not play for stacks on the turn there op
