fold turn unless you think he will call a river shove on an 8 river, which seems pretty unlikely

Looks ok to me, but be aware that this is basically his flop, so check back sometimes, espec if you think you're gonna get checkraised, or if for any other reason your not comfortable barrelling multiple streets if called. Actually given these villlains stats I would check back the flop a lot more than I would against a more passive player, although thankfully his betsizing sucks though so you got to continue on the turn anyway. Another good reason for checking flop is your bdfd; a lot of turn cards will give you well hidden outs to the effective nuts so your far less likely to get blown off your perceived missed hand on the turn.
