since CO has not got auto top up i will assume they are a weak player.

since on the flop there stack is around $16 and the pot is $9, any cbet you make will most likely commit you to the pot to call, since you have a gutter and two overs which I think can both be live.

I think if you bet call it off, when they shove they will always have something, id check hoping the bet out there bluffs and you shove over them may have a greater expectation, as with this line you are getting value from there bluffs which they fire out with.

Is 3betting oop even with ak a good play? I've been doing this and losing a lot unless I take the pot down pf. I might cbet/fold but cf might not be so bad either. If he checks behind, you could bet the turn depending on the card but it's likely that he's got you beat here.

against a weaker player i think its more then fine, easy stack off when you flop tp

Against stronger opponents you'd recommend a call, though?

its really player dependent, if someone has a low fold to 3bet% then id rather 3bet AK OOP, since I know more often then not im ahead of there calling range.

if there fold to 3bet is like 75%, I may flat try to disguise my hand and keep weaker hands in. If villain has a high agg factor on flop turn and rivers, I might 3bet pre for value and to get insinuative on the flop, as its gonna be hard to play AK oop against a Aggro when you miss.

agree with c/f unless he bets $1 or something super small

I like a cbet of ~7 otf. But as was said earlier you are committing if you bet, with his stack size. If you are unsure about what you were planning to do post-flop, I really do not think 3betting oop was your best option.

That said, I b/c, the range is too wide for a btn call here to just b/f at the sign of aggression

Lets say you cbet $6, pot $15 and he shoves $16, so pot is $31 and you are getting ~3 pot odds.

Looks like +EV, but I think it's high-variance decision and would chose c/f line... I guess.

I'd like hear reasons for c/f
