Raise/folding this flop is bad

I call the donk and I'm not saying that because I'm being results oriented. You get it in against KQ/33 and only rarely get calls from KJ/KT/JT some of the time (because villain isn't donking 3/4 pot with these hands that often)

I don't like your raise otf in this spot, I just can't see where you expect value to come from, esp as we know nothing about villain. Just flat the donkbet, it leaves him unsure about our hand & we have position.

I agree with raise/folding.

However I think calling against anyone is crappy here. Why do that? I'm trying to think about it really hard but what do you want to achieve by calling this?

because you have tptk and folding is weaktight???

raising only folds out all worse and keeps in all better hands?

it keeps bluffs in and lets him bluff draws and weak hands on later streets?

man whats going on here?

these are real simple spots that people seem to just butcher..

so turn comes 2d, he ships. you instacall and lose to KQ?

I hate calling this. The pot will be bloated on the turn and you have a guessing game at best. His range is probably 33/JT/KQ/AK, do you think he reraises you with KJ or what? Unless you have a solid read on villain, it's folding>raising>calling imo.

another imo: labling something as "weaktight" or something like that in order to evaluate moves is -EV

Pre- OK: Flop- OK [fold to re-raise];

OP, I think the best play here would be to just call. Although you could have alot of kings dominated, it would take quite a bit of a donk to give you his whole stack with just Kx or Qx. If you call, you confuse him on your range and because he is OOP, he will either be forced to bet into you, in which case you can just call down, and even make a raise on the river if he shows a betsizing weakness, or if he checks the turn, you can take over the lead.

Why are we raising this? Is an unknown really calling with KJ-, AJ, underpairs ... here?
