His r/c range pre is about 77-AA and rarely AK. Since there's no one else in the pot he'll flat AA/KK here, but you have blockers to it. Mostly he has an underpair down to around 77.

You spike top pair--STOP! Think. What range is he putting you on? His stats suggest he's at least somewhat thinking about your range. What kind of player does he think you are? By cbetting this flop are you narrowing your range to top pair, allowing him to play perfectly vs. your actual hand? Because this flop is super wet and hits both your ranges in the face. What was your plan?

On the turn you might as well fold and save your last $10, honestly. You're calling hoping to chop. The 8 didn't improve him to a good draw, and he wouldn't wait until now to raise had he flopped a draw (which is rare in his range anyway). He clearly expects you to call and show him AK. Why satisfy him?

Zeth I would agree with you most of the time , but you aren't taking into account that his turn bet was a horrible one as well as the flop bet. His flop bet was very soft showing weakness and his turn bet was just WAY too low. He played this hand super weak so I can see someone showing up here with a lot less. With a board that wet idk why you would be betting so small on the flop fire out 6 bucks IMO. If he calls and that brick hits I think you can shove here profitably.

Really? I read his turn bet as pretty strong -- scared of chasing me off and trying to ease stacks in. He has almost exactly a PSB left, so any bet is pot-committing, and he makes a little 40%-pot bet.

If you bet $6 on flop, do you expect anything you beat to call?

I'm not real crazy about 3betting pre since it narrows his range considerably and lets him fold out all hands we dominate, but once you 3bet and hit TPTK though, I'd probably pot the flop and go broke on turn. As played, I agree with Zeth and think you're calling to chop. But these thoughts seem conflicting so maybe someone can straighten me out.

flop bet is fine...otherwise just pot/shove the turn. All that said some of how villain sees you plays into the hand if he is a thinking player.

Changed my mind on the b/f....I dont think you can b/f. So its either c/f or push on the turn form me and I lean towards pushing.
