Hand #1

UTG limper is table fish, 36/18/3.2
Button is 26/16/2.1, 3-bet 5.3, Fold to 3-bet 40%, 4-bet 40% but only 200 hands
WTSD 32, W$SD 50

I would think he's often isolating in this spot

His stats one me could be laggier than I actually play, like 26/22, 3-bet 9-10%

Hero (SB): $1980.00
BB: $2000.00
UTG: $1758.50
CO: $2262.00
BTN: $2201.00

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero is SB with Q A
UTG calls $20, 1 fold, BTN raises to $90, Hero raises to $325, 2 folds, BTN raises to $2201, Hero calls $1655 all in

What is his range here? AK, AQ, KK-JJ? No TT? Maybe occasional 76dd curveball?

Hand #2

Villain is good regular
25/18/4.0, UTG open 13%, 3-bet 6.1%, Fold to 3-bet 71%, 4-bet 13% over 4.3k hands

Usually I would just 5-bet/get it in here cause his range should be very tight, but during this match I had already 3-bet him 4 times in like last 6 orbits and he folded every time. He also lost AA<KK preflop two orbits ago to a guy who hit 'n ran him. So I thought there was a chance this could also be a steamy 4-bet.

Hand #1

He probably knows, that I know he is isolating here pretty often.
And he knows I can raise here pretty lightly.

That being said my call was (probably) too optimistic. The 40% 4-betting range over 200 is too small of a sample.

I'd usually flat hand 1 pre to keep the fish in and keep BTN's range looser/weaker. Our hand is too good to 3b as a bluff, but not so strong where we're happy if he does anything aggressive after our 3b. I guess calling is fine, embrace the variance.

Hand 2, just shove. It doesn't matter if he folded every time.. that should be more of a reason to 5b. He's probably waiting for a hand to play back at you, and probably has one here. I don't really like postflop because we're just donating him money where our hand is face-up as a weak one pair. Probably bet/call 500 on flop.

Hand 1 is so hard to describe. If you havent been 3 betting him a lot today and theres not much history I guess I fold but I dont like it.

Hand 2 with those odds I call riv but I'm not thrilled.

Flatting is probably best in #1

We need to be correct 33% to call in hand #2
So vs ranges
AA, KK, QQ, AK = 50%
AA, AK, KK, QQ, JJ = 40%

So it pretty much comes down to whether he's betting AK on the river. Since he's decent, I thought that he wouldn't bet - since there's pretty much not any value to bet it. What's the worst that will call him?
AQ and even it is a slim shot.

(Also betting the turn with AK seems kinda goofy)

Yeh, he prob does know, but ... I think not light enough to call

H2:

combos of AK => 6
combos of KK/QQ => 6
Dead money : $1k

I think you can figure out how you should play post flop with that info

Hand #2: Just shove pre-flop isnt bad. If you really are intent on trapping him then checking behind on the flop accopmlishes nothing since you cant control the pot size below the size of your stack. Just get it in.
