NL200 - Weird line from villain NL200 - Weird line from villain

Villain was raise 91% from BU and cbetting 75%. He was a decent player but not a HU regular (from PTR he looked like a SH reg)

His line didn't make any sense to me and his river sizing looked very suspicious. I know that all I have is a bluff catcher, but he's repping such a narrow range here...

Is this call EV+ in your opinion?

do you not see him having a slow played K here quite a lot? Fair enough calling turn with your nut draw but why call river? If he is a SH regular normally you see these kind of players playing on the tight side. It just doesnt look like a good spot to pull off a bluff on the turn and especially the river. Your ace high doesnt exactly beat anything.

Well, considering how much he was raising from BU and cbetting on flop, on the top of going to show down 39% I think he wasn't on the nit side.

From what I had seen him do, a slowplayed K never crossed my mind tbh

cause you're already of all the hands that you get to fold. like he's gonna call with hands as weak as 2x.

leading the turn is completely standard.

sure he can call your turn bet with a 2 or 66 but you know you're allowed to bet the river also, right?

You win the pot a fair amount with a turn bet or you build a pot with a hand with lots of equity.

checking and betting are both fine... he's repping like 55 so if you think he's fairly aggro/bluffy i dont mind calling
