The match was aggressive, lots of 3betting on both sides. He called my 3bets liberally and then floated the flop pretty often. I took two or three buyins off him with some coolerish hands when I had overpair on the flop and got it in in a 3bet pot. He had a naked 9 high flush draw, the other time JT for TP.

The hand in question:

Poker Stars $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN/SB: $528.00
Hero (BB): $2512.80

Pre Flop: Hero is BB with Q Q
BTN/SB raises to $6, Hero raises to $22, BTN/SB calls $16

Flop: ($44.00) 5 3 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $30, BTN/SB calls $30

Turn: ($104.00) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets $70, Hero raises to $210

I chose not to bet turn, because I didn't think that he has a hand that can call a second barrel but he has maybe some kind of 4, FD or air and I thought he would bet the turn with those hands. Although looking back on it he prolly raises the flop with those hands?

So, is this overplayed/spew? How would you play it? Should I just b/f turn? or c/c maybe?

Thank you guys!

i like it. betting 2 streets in a row after 3betting looks super strong and you probably wouldn't get looked up nearly as much. c/r there looks good, and obv get it in if ur able to - ur killing his range.

plus you should get more free rivers when you 3bet other hands and cbet the flop unimproved then check turn unimproved.

i like getting it in here, but i think your turn check is pretty dangerous. I think u have to be pretty close to 100% sure villain will semibluff with 4x/flushdraws in order to do this. because if villain checks behind you are frozen on like half the deck on the river.... and have to c/c but not really like it. so, basically i think b/get-it-in > c/r on the turn, but if he is semibluffing always then whatev

I like the turn. As for the river, I think you should check call (happily) any completed draw* and bet any blank.

*if the two of diamonds comes out on the river, quit poker.

I usually bets the turn because there is a lot of bad cards than can come on the river. The diamonds, A, K, 4, 2, 7. All those cards could kill your hand or/and the action.
Furthermore, you have shown a lot of strength and I think that he is probably checking behind a lot of his weak hands (he just wants to see the showdown) and checking his draws because you give him a freecard and you could be trapping waiting for a CRAI.

Also, I don't like your raise. I would make it 240-270.
With 210, it's just like if you bet 140 in a 240 pot. Do you bet midpot with an overpair on a drawy board ? Probably not a good idea.

If he calls and any of the draws on the flop gets there, do you fold? If yes, then your raise size is exploitable. If no in combo with that he doesn't bluff hit missed draws you raise size is exploitable.

yeah I guess I should think more next time about my raise size as I gave him really good direct and implied odds with this 3x raise.

I was cbetting like every time in 3-bet pots so I thought he would take a stab with his draws and air but like many of you said this is a pretty dangerous spot to risk a free card.
