Villain was a fairly standard player. 58/52/3.1 and Fold to 3b was 57.

call and call most rivers?

what kind of dynamic/reads are necessary for us to prefer b/f turn? how about b/c turn?

bet the turn yourself bc he's calling with most pair + draw hands.

whether you're b/c or b/f the turn completely depends on history and if he's capable of shoving hands like 8x9d, Ad3x etc

Definitely bet the turn here. His range when he calls the flop is mainly FDs and one pair type hands, (+ a small% of slow plays and air floats). If you check few of the one pair hands are betting so when u call you're getting money in bad. If you bet he calls with all the one pair hands and some flushes (+ raises the rest of the flushes). So here bet/fold would be my line as it gets max value, but doesn't pay off his flushes.

However, if he's really thinking and you've been aggro, then he should realise that this is a great card for you to barrel as the Qd is a bad card for his floating range on this flop, so he could shove a lot of air, making b/c the best line.

i meant as played, obv, and i still think it's our best line, as played.

edit: actually i just bothered to look at stacks, and we have a little less than a psb to put it in on the turn. so i guess shipping it is better than c/c against most. villain's stats, though, make him seem quite lag, and his turn bet sizing seems like he's setting up for a river shove, so i still think bluffcatching (c/c,c/c) is fine.
